Tennis ACT’s Rising Stars Clinch Historic Victory at 10&U NSW State Team Championship in Bathurst

In a groundbreaking display of talent and teamwork, the ACT’s junior tennis teams have made history by securing the championship title at the 10&U NSW State Team Championship, held at the Bathurst Tennis Club. This marks the first time an ACT team has emerged victorious in the 30-year-old event, underscoring the exceptional skill and resilience of the territory’s rising stars.
Representing the ACT, the boys’ and girls’ teams showcased their exceptional abilities, taking on the best players from across New South Wales. The boys’ team consisted of Jairus Dass, Kai Dai, Odin Stroud, and Lindsay Grave, while the girls’ squad featured Celeste Rubiano, Alicia Yang, Ksenia Arutyunova, and Billie Zeng. Guided by coaches Wayne Miller and Nathan Price, the young athletes rose to the challenge, demonstrating the depth of talent within the ACT tennis community.
