In a thrilling turn of events, Great Britain’s men’s wheelchair tennis team has secured a spot in the final of the prestigious World Team Cup. The reigning champions overcame a tough challenge from France to maintain their perfect record and book their place in Sunday’s title decider.
World number one Alfie Hewett led the charge, cruising to a commanding 6-0 6-2 victory over Stephane Houdet. Earlier, Gordon Reid had set the tone with a 6-4 6-0 triumph over Frederic Cattaneo, ensuring the British team did not drop a single rubber throughout the week.
